Christmas Gift Ideas

With Christmas fast approaching many people are already halfway through their gift shopping now. I on the other hand have not bought a single present yet! Therefore I thought today I would spend the day browsing every site imaginable and list my favourite gift ideas. Here's ten to choose from (I hope you like at least one!)

1. Airpods £159

Now this is on the more expensive side but this is a great present for friends or family members who always listen to music. The most basic Airpods start at £159 and have up to five hours of listening time before needing charged. If you have some extra money to spend on this special someone then it is worth looking at the Airpods Pro at £249, these come with a free engraving option, are sweat and water resistant and have a customisable fit.

2. Lush Santa's Grotto Gift Set £38

We all have one friend who is constantly posting their bath time on their Instagram stories and this gift is perfect for people who need some pampering! This set contains three bath bombs, two bubble bars, bath oil and a reusable tin to store your goodies in. Lush are also trying to cut back on their waste - this gift set contains minimal packaging  which is much better for the environment. Another plus is that it is suitable for vegans.

3. Nestle Biscuit Box £18.32

The Nestle biscuit box is such a great gift idea for those who love a good biscuit with their cup of tea. At just less than £19, this box has 71 biscuits - these are KitKats, Breakaway, Blue Ribband and Toffee Crisps. I can't think of a single person who wouldn't be happy with this gift!

4. Magazine Subscription - Ranges in Price

A magazine subscription can be a really personal present for someone close to you - it shows that you pay attention to what they read/are interested in. This website has so many options to choose from including GQ, National Geographic and Vogue. They also currently have Christmas offers on and you have the choice of 6 magazines or an annual subscription for the majority of magazines.

5. Oliver Bonas Makeup Bag £15

This makeup bag is super cute and also comes with a matching jewellery box (£18). It has a starry lining and a cute gold toned bee embellishment. Perfect for those who travel often or simply just need somewhere to store their make up. Oliver Bonas have a bee collection for those who love this bag and want to see some more similar products.

6. Anthropologie Monogram Mug £10

Anthropologie have a few alphabet gifts but these mugs were my favourite, they also come with a matching coaster (£8) if you're wanting to add a little something extra. At £10 this is a great gift for a secret santa or just as a stocking filler. These mugs also have 4.9 star reviews on their website and come in almost every letter online or in store.

7. Amazon Wireless Charger £16.99

I recently bought a wireless charger from a local shop and it is easily one of my best purchases. This wireless charger is a steal from Amazon as most online shops sell these for £30+. It's compatible with the iPhone X/XR/XS and the 8 plus. It also has over 1,700 reviews where it has an average of 4 stars.

8. Edinburgh Christmas Gin £15/£35

This one is for my fellow gin lovers! Edinburgh Gin have released a Christmas Gin flavoured with seasonal botanicals which include frankincense and myrrh and it comes in a gorgeous decorated box as well. The bottles come in a 20cl or 70cl size so would be perfect for a stocking filler or a gin loving pal. You'll find me on Christmas Day on the couch drinking one of these paired with clementine tonic!

9. No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference by Greta Thunberg £2.99

If you haven't heard of Greta Thunberg then you've either been living under a rock or are in some serious need of eduction on the current state of the environment. This gift is perfect if you're on a tight budget or just need something extra to add to your gift. Suited to those who are conscious of the state of the environment and are trying to make a difference - this book consists of 11 speeches Greta wrote, based on global warming and climate change.

10. Urban Outfitters Velvet Hair Scrunchie 5 Pack £10
Urban Outfitters currently sell 6 different colour-ways of this 5 pack of scrunchies and are a great small gift. Scrunchies have been back in fashion for the past year now and aren't going anywhere, they make a ponytail suddenly cute and they come in so many colours to match your outfit. This set comes in natural colours or bright pinks and blues which are suited to your more confident/out there friends when it comes to fashion trends.

Collaboration with DFWM Jewellery

Welcome back to my blog; I know it’s been a long time since my last post - life has been very busy! I’m currently working with DFWM (Don’t F**k With Me) Jewellery and can’t wait to show you what they’ve sent me. Scroll down to see my pictures. DFWM is an online unisex jewellery store run by one woman, Michelle. As a single mum, Michelle was looking for a new career path. After chatting to her friend, she came up with the idea of an online chic boutique; DFWM followed soon after. The brand’s s ethos is to stand up for ourselves and what’s right. We shouldn’t tolerate insulting behaviour nor be made to feel uncomfortable for being who we are. This is definitely a message I can get behind and support! In my opinion, we need so many more brands to embrace people from all backgrounds. I have been kindly sent a stunning bee ring and two bracelets - both are gorgeous!! DFWM have a fab range of products including gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery, snazzy sunglasses, not to m...

My Skincare Routine

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!  For this weeks post I thought I would share with you all my skincare routine and my favourite products. I love trying out new items but I have fairly sensitive, acne prone skin, as well as this I have dry patches but a very oily T zone, so I find it a nightmare trying to find the perfect routine. Morning Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal Face Wash £5 I usually shower every morning and I wash my face with this from Boots. I have tried out a lot of tea tree face washes but find that they can dry me out and leave my skin a bit red, however this works a treat on me. I massage this onto my wet face and neck for at least 1 minute, leaving my skin feeling clean and smooth. The charcoal draws out deep impurities and excess oil without over drying your skin. Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner £13.50 Once I am out of the shower I use this Mario Badescu aloe vera toner. It is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and is alcohol free. I love this toner as it i...

Workwear Picks

Finding outfits that look fashionable and appropriate can be difficult so I've decided to put together some key pieces that I think would be great for either work or uni. These pieces I have listed can be worn easily time and time again by styling in different ways - they could be dressed up for a fancy event or dressed down for a more casual office look. Many websites such as Topshop and Pretty Little Thing have a workwear section complete with suits, blouses and trousers. I find this so helpful when it comes to finding smart clothes even when they are not for work! 1. Belted Jersey Midi Dress £29 This belted Topshop midi dress is perfect workwear, it is one of my favourites on this list! It's a simple piece that could be worn with some chunky boots in Winter or ballet flats in summer. You could also wear a chunky knit over this with some tights for those snowy days. 2. Bell Sleeve Chuck On Dress £25 This Topshop 'chuck on' dress is great for those days...
