New Years Eve Outfit Ideas

It may be hard to believe but NYE is only two weeks away!
I thought for this week's blog post I would put together a list of some outfit ideas - these would be perfect if you're going out for the night or to a function. Fashion during this time of year usually consists of sequins and other extra touches. I've put a mix of 'out there' outfits and some more simple dresses to suit everyone's style.

Missguided Embellished Trim Mini Dress £70

This Missguided dress is great for those who like just a little bit of sparkle and nothing too dazzling! The dress has a sexy cross bar back and has padded shoulders to add to the look. Great for a NYE party paired with strappy heels and a statement bag.

Club L Printed Square Neck Mini Dress £45

It was love at first sight for me with this dress, it's by far my favourite sequin outfit I have seen so far. Featuring a scoop neck and mini length along with the embellished sequins, I would say £45 is a steal. I would pair this with black strappy heels or boots with silver jewellery like a simple necklace.

This dress from Club L is also another favourite. I love that it is dressy enough to wear to any NYE event but you can also wear this all year round to any other events such as a black tie do! This is a modern, dramatic take on the LBD and I'm here for it.

Club L London Sequin Plunge Gold Mini Dress £60

Club L have seriously upped their game with their collection of dresses right now. This gorgeous gold number features a plunged neck and has a ruched design. I would wear this with slicked back hair, dark eye make up and the biggest hoops I could find!

Pretty Little Thing Rust Sequin One Shoulder Midi Dress £50

In this amazing dress you will easily be the best dressed at any event you go to! This dress features a split to show some leg and also has a cut out above the chest making it even more flattering. It also has a zip fastening so you won't have a nightmare trying to squeeze into it or out of it by the end of the night.

Boohoo Dimante Fringe Hem Dress £60

This dress is perfect for those who love the blazer style and it has an extra bit of sparkle with the diamanté hem. Another plus is that this dress comes in white AND it is machine washable! Perfect for NYE and also can easily be reworn to other events dressed down.

ASOS Velvet Puff Sleeve Off Shoulder Dress £95

This teal velvet bardot dress is on the more expensive side but would look great if you're going to a large function for NYE. I would wear this with large earrings, silver jewellery and black strappy heels.

ASOS Velvet Halter Neck Dress £44

This gorgeous dress is currently reduced from £55 to £44 and features faux crystal embellishments. The open back along with the plunge neck is sure to draw eyes your way. Perfect if you're wanting to go glam with a hint of sexy.

Missguided Faux Leather Jumpsuit £45

Ok so I added this cool jumpsuit for those who aren't fans of wearing dresses. I would wear this with some heels and with a bright micro handbag. It has an ankle grazer fit and features a belt so it's adjustable as well. Another plus is that it is currently reduced from £55 as well!

Missguided Pink Tulle Skirt £17 . Pink Tulle Puff Sleeve Top £13.50

I've linked both the skirt and the matching puff sleeve crop top for this outfit. I love this co ord so much but you could also just wear the top with some high waisted black leather look trousers or wear the skirt with a white plunge bodysuit. This is something a bit different if you're not looking for a dress to wear. This would also be so cute to wear in Summer so you would be able to wear it more than once!

Collaboration with DFWM Jewellery

Welcome back to my blog; I know it’s been a long time since my last post - life has been very busy! I’m currently working with DFWM (Don’t F**k With Me) Jewellery and can’t wait to show you what they’ve sent me. Scroll down to see my pictures. DFWM is an online unisex jewellery store run by one woman, Michelle. As a single mum, Michelle was looking for a new career path. After chatting to her friend, she came up with the idea of an online chic boutique; DFWM followed soon after. The brand’s s ethos is to stand up for ourselves and what’s right. We shouldn’t tolerate insulting behaviour nor be made to feel uncomfortable for being who we are. This is definitely a message I can get behind and support! In my opinion, we need so many more brands to embrace people from all backgrounds. I have been kindly sent a stunning bee ring and two bracelets - both are gorgeous!! DFWM have a fab range of products including gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery, snazzy sunglasses, not to m...

My Skincare Routine

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!  For this weeks post I thought I would share with you all my skincare routine and my favourite products. I love trying out new items but I have fairly sensitive, acne prone skin, as well as this I have dry patches but a very oily T zone, so I find it a nightmare trying to find the perfect routine. Morning Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal Face Wash £5 I usually shower every morning and I wash my face with this from Boots. I have tried out a lot of tea tree face washes but find that they can dry me out and leave my skin a bit red, however this works a treat on me. I massage this onto my wet face and neck for at least 1 minute, leaving my skin feeling clean and smooth. The charcoal draws out deep impurities and excess oil without over drying your skin. Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner £13.50 Once I am out of the shower I use this Mario Badescu aloe vera toner. It is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and is alcohol free. I love this toner as it i...

Workwear Picks

Finding outfits that look fashionable and appropriate can be difficult so I've decided to put together some key pieces that I think would be great for either work or uni. These pieces I have listed can be worn easily time and time again by styling in different ways - they could be dressed up for a fancy event or dressed down for a more casual office look. Many websites such as Topshop and Pretty Little Thing have a workwear section complete with suits, blouses and trousers. I find this so helpful when it comes to finding smart clothes even when they are not for work! 1. Belted Jersey Midi Dress £29 This belted Topshop midi dress is perfect workwear, it is one of my favourites on this list! It's a simple piece that could be worn with some chunky boots in Winter or ballet flats in summer. You could also wear a chunky knit over this with some tights for those snowy days. 2. Bell Sleeve Chuck On Dress £25 This Topshop 'chuck on' dress is great for those days...
