Netflix Series to Binge Watch

Hi guys, I hope you're all doing well! I can't believe we've been in lockdown for 3 months now, it feels like forever since I was last at work. For this weeks blog post I thought I would share some of my favourite Netflix series which are binge worthy. I don't know about everyone else but I have probably spent about 60% of my time in lockdown on the couch scrolling through Netflix.

1. White Lines - 10 episodes
White Lines on Netflix - What's next for Zoe and Boxer?
I recently watched this with my flatmate, finishing it in two nights, it was so addictive. White Lines centres around the main character - Zoe who travels to Ibiza after the body of her brother is discovered. Zoe decides to stay in Ibiza and investigates all of his friends to find out what happened after he went missing 20 years ago. It is a mystery thriller and if you are into plot twists then this is definitely for you.

2. Too Hot to Handle - 9 episodes

This is everything you need to know about Too Hot to Handle, the ...
I'm slightly embarrassed to say that this series was watched in one sitting! If you enjoy watching Love Island every year then you will love Too Hot to Handle. It features contestants from all around the world who live in a villa together. However, after spending the first day getting to know each other it is revealed that they all need to stay celibate in order to win the $100,000 prize. This series is packed with drama but becomes wholesome towards the end when they all learn how to create genuine connections.

3. The Stranger - 8 episodes
The Stranger | Netflix Official Site
Definitely one of the most wild series I have seen this year, with an unpredicable ending. The Stranger, based around Adam - a father and husband trying to find out what happened to his missing wife. Throughout the series Adam learns more shocking things from a woman he has never met before - The Stranger. Fast moving and the last 15 minutes will have you on the edge of your seat. Perfect watch if you are into mystery thrillers and it doesn't end in a cliffhanger!

4. Love is Blind - 11 episodes
Netflix commissions Love is Blind Brazil – Red Arrow Studios
Another great series if you are into Love Island type shows. This American series is based around 'pods', where 30 men and women speak to each other individually, getting to know one another over a ten day period. During the 10 days they must decide who they will propose to, having never seen each other. The story moves on to a couples retreat and then it’s time to plan weddings. This series is so dramatic throughout, particularly at the altar where it is decision time. It’s a perfect binge watch and you can check out their social media to see how they’re doing or not?

5. After Life - 12 episodes
After Life - Netflix Sitcom - British Comedy Guide
I found this to be such an easy watch, the episodes are 20 minutes long, some emotional. After Life follows Tony - a recent widower, whose behaviour becomes irrational and dark at times. Friends and colleagues rally round and although there are difficult times there are happier moments.

6. Money Heist - 31 episodes
Is Money Heist: Part 4 (2020) on Netflix Japan?
This is could be my favourite Netflix series. Money Heist is based in Spain and follows the story of a group of strangers who work together as a team to carry out a seemingly impossible bank heist. Through flashbacks we see more of the characters and how they engage with each other. It’s action packed and you definitely won’t be able to look away!

Collaboration with DFWM Jewellery

Welcome back to my blog; I know it’s been a long time since my last post - life has been very busy! I’m currently working with DFWM (Don’t F**k With Me) Jewellery and can’t wait to show you what they’ve sent me. Scroll down to see my pictures. DFWM is an online unisex jewellery store run by one woman, Michelle. As a single mum, Michelle was looking for a new career path. After chatting to her friend, she came up with the idea of an online chic boutique; DFWM followed soon after. The brand’s s ethos is to stand up for ourselves and what’s right. We shouldn’t tolerate insulting behaviour nor be made to feel uncomfortable for being who we are. This is definitely a message I can get behind and support! In my opinion, we need so many more brands to embrace people from all backgrounds. I have been kindly sent a stunning bee ring and two bracelets - both are gorgeous!! DFWM have a fab range of products including gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery, snazzy sunglasses, not to m...

My Skincare Routine

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!  For this weeks post I thought I would share with you all my skincare routine and my favourite products. I love trying out new items but I have fairly sensitive, acne prone skin, as well as this I have dry patches but a very oily T zone, so I find it a nightmare trying to find the perfect routine. Morning Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal Face Wash £5 I usually shower every morning and I wash my face with this from Boots. I have tried out a lot of tea tree face washes but find that they can dry me out and leave my skin a bit red, however this works a treat on me. I massage this onto my wet face and neck for at least 1 minute, leaving my skin feeling clean and smooth. The charcoal draws out deep impurities and excess oil without over drying your skin. Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner £13.50 Once I am out of the shower I use this Mario Badescu aloe vera toner. It is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and is alcohol free. I love this toner as it i...

Workwear Picks

Finding outfits that look fashionable and appropriate can be difficult so I've decided to put together some key pieces that I think would be great for either work or uni. These pieces I have listed can be worn easily time and time again by styling in different ways - they could be dressed up for a fancy event or dressed down for a more casual office look. Many websites such as Topshop and Pretty Little Thing have a workwear section complete with suits, blouses and trousers. I find this so helpful when it comes to finding smart clothes even when they are not for work! 1. Belted Jersey Midi Dress £29 This belted Topshop midi dress is perfect workwear, it is one of my favourites on this list! It's a simple piece that could be worn with some chunky boots in Winter or ballet flats in summer. You could also wear a chunky knit over this with some tights for those snowy days. 2. Bell Sleeve Chuck On Dress £25 This Topshop 'chuck on' dress is great for those days...
