My Favourite Homeware Brands

Hi guys, it has been a while!

I'm currently in isolation and can no longer use the excuse of being too busy to update my blog. Recently I've been obssessed with looking at homeware and wanting to make my flat more homely/aesthetically pleasing. So here are my favourite homeware brands:

H&M Home

I only recently discovered H&M Home and I am obsessed! They have a huge range of products including candles, dishes, storage baskets, bedding and more. Their pricing is also reasonable. I ordered this gorgeous vase which I plan to put dried flowers into and also two glazed stoneware bowls. These are both out of stock currently but what I love about H&M is that you can get a notification when the product you want comes back in stock.

Matalan

Now you might think this is a really random one but Matalan have such cute, cheap homeware products. I found this out through many homeware bloggers and when I checked out their website I couldn't believe it! They have so many products to browse, I recommend their bedding and they also have a range of artiticial plants that are such good value for money. Check out this cheese plant that is only £25 and this zebra glass that is £20.

B&M

I love a wander in B&M, they just have so many products at such great prices! They are one of those shops that sells everything and they also have really cute homeware pieces. I felt so lucky that I managed to get my hands on one of their £30 bar trolleys before they sold out. They still have this £40 trolley on their website so it might be worth looking in your local shop.

Oliver Bonas

This may be slightly bias as I do work there and get staff discount but I just love all of OB’s homeware products. They sell a range including vases, lamps, wall art, plant pots and artificial plants. My favourite products currently are this £19 seagrass storage basket and the clementina orange vase at £22. Although it is on the more pricey side, OB products have great reviews and are great quality.

Zara Home

Zara Home are known for also being expensive but again are also high quality. One thing I love is that they sell coffee table books such as the Dior Catwalk Book and the Yves Saint Laurent Catwalk Book, both of which I need in my life. Along with books they also sell glassware, bedding, utensils, furniture and lamps.

Collaboration with DFWM Jewellery

Welcome back to my blog; I know it’s been a long time since my last post - life has been very busy! I’m currently working with DFWM (Don’t F**k With Me) Jewellery and can’t wait to show you what they’ve sent me. Scroll down to see my pictures. DFWM is an online unisex jewellery store run by one woman, Michelle. As a single mum, Michelle was looking for a new career path. After chatting to her friend, she came up with the idea of an online chic boutique; DFWM followed soon after. The brand’s s ethos is to stand up for ourselves and what’s right. We shouldn’t tolerate insulting behaviour nor be made to feel uncomfortable for being who we are. This is definitely a message I can get behind and support! In my opinion, we need so many more brands to embrace people from all backgrounds. I have been kindly sent a stunning bee ring and two bracelets - both are gorgeous!! DFWM have a fab range of products including gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery, snazzy sunglasses, not to m...

My Skincare Routine

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!  For this weeks post I thought I would share with you all my skincare routine and my favourite products. I love trying out new items but I have fairly sensitive, acne prone skin, as well as this I have dry patches but a very oily T zone, so I find it a nightmare trying to find the perfect routine. Morning Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal Face Wash £5 I usually shower every morning and I wash my face with this from Boots. I have tried out a lot of tea tree face washes but find that they can dry me out and leave my skin a bit red, however this works a treat on me. I massage this onto my wet face and neck for at least 1 minute, leaving my skin feeling clean and smooth. The charcoal draws out deep impurities and excess oil without over drying your skin. Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner £13.50 Once I am out of the shower I use this Mario Badescu aloe vera toner. It is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and is alcohol free. I love this toner as it i...

Workwear Picks

Finding outfits that look fashionable and appropriate can be difficult so I've decided to put together some key pieces that I think would be great for either work or uni. These pieces I have listed can be worn easily time and time again by styling in different ways - they could be dressed up for a fancy event or dressed down for a more casual office look. Many websites such as Topshop and Pretty Little Thing have a workwear section complete with suits, blouses and trousers. I find this so helpful when it comes to finding smart clothes even when they are not for work! 1. Belted Jersey Midi Dress £29 This belted Topshop midi dress is perfect workwear, it is one of my favourites on this list! It's a simple piece that could be worn with some chunky boots in Winter or ballet flats in summer. You could also wear a chunky knit over this with some tights for those snowy days. 2. Bell Sleeve Chuck On Dress £25 This Topshop 'chuck on' dress is great for those days...
