We're currently on day 53 of lockdown and I don't know about anyone else but I have done a ridiculous amount of online shopping. You know its bad when even your flatmate finds it bad. During this time though I think a lot of us forget about local businesses that are struggling, so I thought I'd list some here that are still offering their services. 1. It's been a while since I've posted on here - life was so busy before Coronavirus but I've finally sat down and felt motivated to write a new blog post. During these times I find it so difficult to keep a routine when there is limited things to do and it can make me feel demotivated and run down. Here's a list of things you can do to keep yourself busy: 1. Youtube home workouts I came across the channel  POPSUGAR fitness when looking for beginners workouts and they have some great content! Their workouts are actually for beginners as well - it was hard but manageable and I felt great for doing it. 2. Going for a walk Although it may seem pointless for some, going for a daily one hour walk is a good way to get into a routine - try and go at the same time each day. It will help you sleep better at night and even if that is the only thing you do that day then at least you have managed to keep active. 3. It may be hard to believe but NYE is only two weeks away! I thought for this week's blog post I would put together a list of some outfit ideas - these would be perfect if you're going out for the night or to a function. Fashion during this time of year usually consists of sequins and other extra touches. I've put a mix of 'out there' outfits and some more simple dresses to suit everyone's style. Missguided Embellished Trim Mini Dress £70 This Missguided dress is great for those who like just a little bit of sparkle and nothing too dazzling! Finding outfits that look fashionable and appropriate can be difficult so I've decided to put together some key pieces that I think would be great for either work or uni. These pieces I have listed can be worn easily time and time again by styling in different ways - they could be dressed up for a fancy event or dressed down for a more casual office look. Many websites such as Topshop and Pretty Little Thing have a workwear section complete with suits, blouses and trousers. I find this so helpful when it comes to finding smart clothes even when they are not for work! 1. After living in Edinburgh for over three years and barely doing anything 'touristy', I decided this year to take advantage of the free tourist attractions. I have listed my top five places that I love to go to time and time again. The advantage of many of these places is that they change throughout the year. For example the National Galleries have lots of different exhibitions, displays and events on all year round. 1. Royal Botanic Garden The gardens are located on  Arboretum Place, which is only a ten minute bus ride from the city centre. It is free entry all year around but if you would like to visit the Glasshouses then entry is £7 for adults. This is by far my favourite place to visit no matter what the time of year is, its so relaxing to walk around such beautiful scenery and there is also a shop and cafe where you can get a nice hot drink if you're feeling the cold.  2.
